Tofsen Wishes You a Happy Winter Break!

Now Christmas is over and the New Year is just around the corner. I have taken things easy during Christmas and enjoyed my free time. I hope you have been doing the same and that you’ve had a chance to spend more time with family and friends. For some of us, the re-sit exams are coming up and if you haven’t already done it, it’s about time to start revising.
I would like to wish you all a happy winter break, for the remainder of the holidays. The editorial staff at Tofsen would like to wish you a wonderful holiday and good luck with the exams (for those who need it)!

Seven kilometers of plastic film
A group of students at Chalmers University in Gothenburg recently made a giant plastic-wrap cocoon called “Puppan”. The installation was a part of the Chalmers Architecture spring exhibition 2011. The construction has enough strength to support people and is made up of a total of seven kilometers of plastic film.

Some vehicle inspiration for the Chalmers Cortège 2011
The Chalmers Cortège is an annual carnival parade held by Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. It serves the purpose of making fun of events which occurred throughout the past year and gathers roughly a quarter of a million viewers on its way through Gothenburg city centre. The event is held on April 30th and since it is approaching fast we would like to share some inspiration for those of you participating this year.
